Can I get a ride to the event ... or offer a carpool?
Yes! The best and friendliest way to make a connection before our dance is to carpool. Just post your request or offer on our message board. There you'll find others who can either offer a ride or are looking for one. There are also requests from those coming from out of town looking to share a hotel room.

I don't have a date. Can I come alone or with a buddy?
Of course! Many women and men come solo to our dances, or with a same-sex pal. By the end of the night you're sure to make many new friends! See comments from some first-timers. Remember, because you're at a size-friendly event, open ONLY to our registered members and their invited guests, there's no reason to feel shy or self-conscious.

What will people wear? Do I have to dress up?
Put as much imagination into your costume as you wish! Most everyone comes in costume...but it can be as simple as a hat, mask or wild Hawaiian shirt. Many also simply come dressed to impress (no T-shirts or jeans, please). Whatever you wear you will feel just as welcome. We are committed to maintaining a "PG-rated" environment for the safety and comfort of our guests, so please dress appropriately. If we are notified about overly revealing clothing, nudity, lewd advances, or overt sexual behavior on the premises or parking area, it can result in the immediate ejection of the offending party without refund.
